The Courage to Be a Priest

This summer, the Vocation Office for the Diocese of Rockford is hosting a summer evening series designed to inspire and encourage vocations—especially to the Diocesan Priesthood. Initially launched as Called by Name on Good Shepherd Sunday, these evenings offer a prayerful and engaging opportunity to reflect on God’s call, how it unfolds in the life of the Church, and how we need men today to courageously respond and follow him.

On July 30th at Holy Cross in Batavia, Fr. Thomas Doyle gave a powerful witness of what the priesthood means to him, and what it should mean for you.
