Diocesan Prayer for Vocations

Father, since you breathed life into us, you had a plan for the Body of Christ, the Church.  From the beginning, you have called men and women into roles of joyful sacrifice and generosity for the sake of your Kingdom.  The world is in need of more souls confident to cry out with a resounding yes to your call and invitation.  We ask that from our families you would inspire Sons and Daughters to offer their lives back to the Church as priests and religious, especially here in the Diocese of Rockford.

Drawing near to the Heart of your Son, we pray: Jesus, I trust in You.   Amen.

Padre, desde que nos infundiste vida, tuviste un plan para el Cuerpo de Cristo, la Iglesia.  Desde el principio, has llamado a hombres y mujeres a roles de gozoso sacrificio y generosidad por el bien de tu Reino.  El mundo está necesitado de más almas seguras para responder con un rotundo sí a tu llamado e invitación.  Te pedimos que inspires a los hijos e hijas de nuestras familias a ofrecer sus vidas a la Iglesia como sacerdotes, religiosos y religiosas, especialmente aquí en la Diócesis de Rockford.

Acercándonos al Corazón de tu Hijo, oramos: Jesús, Yo confío en Ti.  Amén.
