A Summer Series on Vocations

The Vocation Office for the Diocese of Rockford invites you and your family to Called by Name, a summer evening series designed to inspire and encourage vocations—especially to the Diocesan Priesthood. Initially launched on Good Shepherd Sunday, these evenings are open to all and will offer a prayerful and engaging opportunity to reflect on God’s call, how it unfolds in the life of the Church, and how we need men today to courageously respond and follow him.

7:00 p.m. .… Adoration and guided Holy Hour for vocations, featuring a reflection on the priesthood by a vocation director

8:00 p.m. …. Social hour with our seminarians, offering a chance for conversation, fellowship and light refreshments

Whether you are discerning a vocation yourself or simply desire to pray for and support vocations in our diocese, Called by Name is an evening of prayer, reflection, and community you won’t want to miss. This event is intended for all faithful, from discerners, to families, to young and old.
