A Relationship with Him
Discernment occurs in prayer. If Jesus called the Apostles in the midst of a relationship, why wouldn’t he do the same for you? How can we foster a faithful and daily relationship?
Seek to develop a daily prayer habit you can stick to. It should be realistic and should slowly grow over time. Perhaps you start with prayer 15 minutes in the morning and evening. Then by the end of the semester, you’ve been able to commit to a daily Holy Hour in Adoration with our Lord.
It’s only in the midst of a relationship that the call will become clear. To be open, honest and bold in your prayer. And, of course, always leave time to listen to Him.
