“Take delight in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.” — Ps 34:7
There are so many noises demanding our attention, but only he wholly deserves it. Practice identifying and tuning out all that keeps you from him.
The Lord wants your whole heart, most especially while discerning. While perhaps a temporary sacrifice, it usually helps to discern a singular vocation at a given time. Most men find freedom and a clarity while discerning priesthood during a dating fast. Our first duty is always to Him.
